Abstract
The crystal structure of the 2:1 salt of picric acid with 1,5-diaminon aphthalene has been determined by the X-ray diffraction method. The cr ystals of the salt have the yellow green form. The crystals exhibit th e thermochromism at about 110 degrees C. This phenomenon was studied b y measuring the temperature dependence of the IR absorption spectra of the crystals of the salt of picric acid with 1,5-diaminonaphthalene a nd the deutrated salt.
