Abstract
An analysis of robustness and a comparison between control systems are made utilizing five types of observers, with: 1) a large gain coeffic ient, 2) a variable structure, 3) an adaptive observer, 4) a PI observ er, and 5) an observer for an extended state vector. The robustness is examined in relation to external actions, magnitude of errors, and th e nonlinearity of the object, the regulator, and the sensor errors.
