Abstract
Experimental data of velocity fields in a water tunnel at moderate Rey nolds numbers have been used to check the notion of extended self-simi larity and generalized extended self-similarity. Experimental evidence is shown that the self-scaling behavior of structure functions at mod erate Reynolds number (Re-lambda approximate to 10) is the same as the one expected for fully developed turbulence.
