ELABORATION OF PRACTICAL GUIDE FOR ADMINI STRATION OF INTRAVENOUS MEDICATION TO NEONATES AND PEDIATRIC-PATIENTS

Although medications continue to be used extensively in the hospitaliz ed paediatric patient, our knowledge regarding many of these agents re mains limited. To date, apart from anecdotal case reports or studies i nvolving a very limited number of patients, few data regarding the dos ing and usage of medications in neonates and paediatric patients are a vailable in the literature. This work has been conducted in order to p rovide sources of information on the intravenous administration of med ication to these patients. All recommandations should be individualise d in accordance with the clinical situation.
