Abstract
Reinvestigation of an EtOH extract of Swartzia polyphylla (Leguminosae ) led to the isolation of a new 3-hydroxyisoflavanone, ferreirinol(3). The structure was elucidated from H-1 NMR, C-13 NMR, and EIMS data.
