The differential equations of fluid flow contain nonlinearities of pro
duct type. We describe a method to construct Chebyshev series approxim
ations of the solutions without using a computational grid. This is ac
hieved by application of Newton's method; vector function and Jacobian
are built by matrix operator expressions. It is possible to treat the
problem in original and in integrated form as is demonstrated for the
stationary Burgers' equation.
