Abstract
Three cases of cutaneous leishmaniasis in guinea-pigs from a rural are a near Curitiba (Parana State, Brazil) are reported. The three parasit e isolates were characterized by isoenzyme electrophoresis as Leishman ia enriettii, of which two distinct zymodemes were observed.
