Abstract
Recent experiments employing two-beam four-wave mixing on bulk GaAs ex hibited oscillations of the transient four-wave mixing signal which we re explained in terms of the non-Markovian quantum kinetics for electr on-hole pairs due to LO-phonon scattering. The three-beam four-wave mi xing geometry provides another test of the quantum kinetic theory.
