Abstract
Bronchogenic cysts and enteric cysts both result from an aberration of development of the anterior gut. Their usual location is the mediasti num. The abdominal or retroperitoneal location of such cysts is rare a nd raises problems in terminology and pathogenesis. We report two case s of an unusual location of bronchogenic and enteric cysts. We also re call the criteria of diagnosis and the pathogenesis.
