Abstract
In this article, based on a rigorous theorem, we show that the superso lid long-range order existing in the half-filled negative-U Hubbard mo del will be completely suppressed by the crystalline field caused by t he nearest-neighbour interaction among particles. Copyright (C) Elsevi er Science Ltd
