Abstract
An attempt is made in this work to estimate the accuracy of the comput ational models relevant to galactic cosmic rays and radiation belt par ticles. The galactic cosmic ray dose and LET and the radiation belt pa rticle dose are the extensively used characteristics which are compare d with each other. The final conclusion concerning the accuracy of the models is drawn from comparing between the calculated and experimenta l values of the characteristics. Copyright (C) 1996 Elsevier Science L td
