Information supply in the Boehringer Mannheim GmbH central library, a German research-oriented pharmaceutical company, comes also through el ectronic channels. The library sends the tables of contents of 300 jou rnals to 180 company user's electronic mailboxes on a regular basis. T he following paper describes the situation in the company and the libr ary, the library's decision process, the professional and technical pr eparation ant the realization of the project, the problems, the librar y had to cope wth during the planning and implementation phase and the acceptance with the users.
