Abstract
Beginning therapists sometimes make mistakes when working with substan ce abusers in groups. This article discusses ten common errors that th e author has observed. Five center on the therapist's approach and fiv e center on the nuts and bolts of group leadership. Suggestions are of fered for how to avoid them.
