Abstract
Long term selection experiments are simulated with gene models includi ng one and two genes. Especially the question is of interest after how many generations in a simulated selection process homozygosity is rea ched. The simulations show that if there is dominance quite a large nu mber of generations is required for reaching homozygosity.
