Abstract
We have designed a catheter which allows perfusion with accurate measu rement of mean intra-luminal pressure. it has proved useful in the stu dy of the effect of adrenaline and dopamine upon renal vascular resist ance. No similar catheter seems to be available commercially and the m anufacturing cost was approximately R10 (US$2.20).
