Interpolating formulas for temperature behavior of the static constant
and relaxation wavelength in various existing models are shown to sat
isfactory agree both with each other and with the values obtained by p
rocessing the experimental evidence. Qualitative discrepancies are ind
icated among the ''optical'' constant temperature interpolations of va
rious authors. Physical reasons for mentioned discrepancies are discus
sed. Experimental approaches for eliminating this problem are painted
out.
