Abstract
The paper points out necessity of collection, arrangement, and accumul ation of space data together with terrestrial materials with the purpo se of their timely and full application, which puts in the forefront t he problems of geoinformational support for the regions. Formation of regional geoinformational complexes as a core of informational environ ment is stated to be a main element for solution of these problems.
