Although serving very different physiological functions, the eye and t he skin share vulnerabilities to certain autoimmune and immunopathogen ic disorders. Since the eye and the skin display immunity in strikingl y different ways, a recent meeting explored mechanisms by which immun ological processes affect these two organ systems.
