Os. Ksenzhek et Sa. Petrova, NETWORK THERMODYNAMICS AND ITS POSSIBLE APPLICATION IN ELECTROCHEMISTRY, Russian journal of electrochemistry, 32(12), 1996, pp. 1365-1372
Basic principles of network thermodynamics are given within the scope
of its possible application for analysis of mechanisms of complex elec
trochemical processes. A relative simplicity and clearness of the bond
graph method used in network thermodynamics permits a universal appro
ach to different processes studied under various conditions. The metho
d is modified slightly to account for specificity of electrochemical p
rocesses. Some possibilities intrinsic to the formalism of network the
rmodynamics are illustrated by simple examples.
