Abstract
Horseradish peroxidase (HRP) and xanthine oxidase (XOD) reactions were investigated using a multichannel electrochemical detector with 16 in dependent band electrodes held at different potentials. Although the e nzyme reaction media gave complicated electrochemical responses in flo w injection analysis, responses for a redox species can be extracted e asily from the multichannel responses. The course analysis over time o f the extracted responses enabled the Michaelis constants and molecula r activities of HRP for various electron donors to be established. The electrochemical responses of O-2(-) on the mu M order in aqueous solu tion were also washed out from the responses in the XOD reaction media .
