ELBOW ARTHROSCOPY IN THE ATHLETE

Arthroscopy of the elbow joint remains one of the most potentially haz ardous procedures because of the risk to the surrounding neurovascular structures. This article describes a safe approach to the arthroscopi c management of elbow disorders, emphasizing a detailed knowledge of p ortal and related anatomy. The indications for and the techniques and complications of elbow arthroscopy are reviewed.
