Abstract
Two kinds of holes were burned simultaneously in the F-7(0)-D-5(0) abs
orption band of Eu3+:beta ''-alumina. They differ in hole width, stabi
lity and burning-rate. It was possible to separate the hole spectra in
to these two components using the difference of stability, and their w
idths could be obtained individually.
