Abstract
New laser induced fluorescence spectroscopic transitions of the vinery (CH2CHO) radical have been observed and assigned in the 310-330 nm wa velength region fluorescence. Both excitation and emission spectra hav e been recorded. In the excitation spectrum, the peaks at 30211, 30381 and 30637 cm(-1) have been assigned to the 6(0)(1), 5(0)(1) and 4(0)( 1) vibronic transitions of the (B) over tilde(2)A''-(X) over tilde(2)A '' manifold. The assignments are 1376, 1565 and 1553 cm(-1) for the nu (6), nu(5) and nu(4) vibrational modes, respectively in the ground ele ctronic state, and 1413, 1583 and 1634 cm(-1), respectively in the exc ited state.
