Abstract
A monolithic, fully differential limiting amplifier has been successfu lly demonstrated 1 mu m CMOS technology. The amplifier exhibits high i nput dynamic range of 40 dB (from 15mV(p.p) to 1.5 V-p.p) at constant output voltage swing of 800 mV(p.p) into 50 Omega. operating at 622 Mb it/s. This CMOS limiting amplifier is characterised by high speed, wit h sensitivity, and wide dynamic range.
