Abstract
N-alkenyl acetoacetamides can be simply obtained in good yields by rea ction of acetylketene, generated by thermolysis of 2,2,6-trimethyl-4H- 1,3-dioxin-4-one in refluxing toluene, with imines possessing an alpha -hydrogen atom. Copyright (C) 1996 Elsevier Science Ltd
