A. Holy et al., INHIBITION OF MURINE LYMPHOCYTE-PROLIFERATION BY N-6-SUBSTITUTED ACYCLIC PURINE NUCLEOSIDE PHOSPHONATES, Collection of Czechoslovak Chemical Communications, 61, 1996, pp. 182-187
Acyclic nucleoside phosphonate analogues substituted at the N-6-positi
on of the adenine and 2,6-diaminopurine ring exhibit remarkable inhibi
tory effects on mitogen-stimulated proliferation of murine spleen lymp
hocytes at concentrations (IC50) starting from 10 nM. The effect depen
ds on both phosphonomethoxyalkyl side chain and N-6-substituents. Mito
gen-stimulated T-cells were affected at much lower concentrations than
mitogen-stimulated B-cells.
