Abstract
Acyclic nucleoside phosphonate analogues substituted at the N-6-positi on of the adenine and 2,6-diaminopurine ring exhibit remarkable inhibi tory effects on mitogen-stimulated proliferation of murine spleen lymp hocytes at concentrations (IC50) starting from 10 nM. The effect depen ds on both phosphonomethoxyalkyl side chain and N-6-substituents. Mito gen-stimulated T-cells were affected at much lower concentrations than mitogen-stimulated B-cells.
