Abstract
Dynamics of RNA bulge loop duplexes 1-3 composed of GUCG(A(n))GCUG + C AGCCGAC (n = 1-3), has been studied using fluorescent 2-aminopurine as non-invasive conformational probe placed in the loop region. Results obtained both from time-resolved spectrofluorimetry measurements and i n vacuo simulation of molecular dynamics clearly reflected predominant ''looped out'' conformation for those RNA domains.
