Abstract
Application of femtosecond photoluminescence and nonlinear transmissio n techniques allows us to separate electron and hole relaxation paths in CdS nanocrystals (NCs) and to observe a strong difference in optica l nonlinearities in NCs formed by direct- and indirect-gap phases of c opper sulfide.
