Based on electron impact and high resolution mass spectroscopic data a
nd metastable ions measurements, fragmentation pathways of title compo
unds are postulated. The investigation of LSC NMR data indicates a hig
hly hindered interannular delocalization over the imidazole and phenyl
rings of these compounds. An excellent correlation are found between
the logarithm values of P-31 NMR chemical shifts and a parameters of t
he nuclear substituents on the phenyl ring.
