Abstract
A rare case of primary renal carcinoid tumour is presented. The diagno sis was based on immunohistochemically diffuse cytoplasmic positivity for chromogranin A and neuron-specific enolase, in addition to histolo gic findings. Only 14 previous cases of this tumour have been document ed in the literature.
