Abstract
We present results of fs pump-probe experiments on the predissociation dynamics of the IBr B-state, as a model of nonadiabatic wave packet d ynamics on coupled potential energy curves. The observations reflect t he complicated wave packet motion on the coupled potentials and oscill atory behavior of the decay rates as a function of excitation energy.
