Abstract
We consider single squark production in <p(p)over bar> collisions at r oot s = 1800 GeV in the light gluino scenario, where production is dom inated by the parton subprocess qg --> (qg) over tilde --> <q(gg)over tilde>. Computed are the total production cross sections as well as th e contribution of such production to the dijet mass distribution. We c ompare our cross sections to the experimental data from the CDF collab oration with integrated luminosity of 19 pb(-1).
