We argue that an experimental search for an eta(c)', the first radial
excitation of the eta(c)(2980), may be carried out using the two-photo
n process e(+)e(-) --> e(+)e(-)gamma gamma --> e(+)e(-)eta(c)'. We est
imate the partial width Gamma(gamma gamma)(eta(c)') and the branching
fraction B(eta(c)' --> h), where h is an exclusive hadronic channel, a
nd find that for h = K(s)(0)K(+/-)pi(-/+) it may be possible to observ
e this state in two-photon collisions at CLEO-II.
