Children need limits. But how can we get them to voluntary accept set
limits? On the one hand it will be discussed that this aim cannot be a
chieved by ''reasoning'' or ''inductive'' child-rearing, which are com
mon/wide-spread today, and the reasons will explained, on the other ha
nd alternative non-authoritarian child-rearing practices which prevent
forced acceptance or flouting of the limits imposed on the child will
be described.
