Abstract
An Ising chain with mirror-image type interactions was analyzed exactl y at nonzero temperatures. However the thermodynamic function of the m odel is analytic, a careful study revealed an accentuately rich intern al physics whose interpretation in terms of correlation functions lead us to consider hidden internal ordering within the system at least of short-range type.
