The thermal conductivity kappa, thermal diffusivity alpha and electric
al resistivity rho were measured between 15K and 150K for Mn100-XYX bi
nary amorphous alloys which were prepared by high rate dc sputtering.
alpha was measured quasi-simultaneously with kappa by an arbitrary hea
ting method. No anomaly associated with spin glass transition was obse
rved in transport properties. The specific heat C was estimated from t
he relation C=kappa/alpha, which indicated the Debye temperature Theta
(D) approximate to 250K for Mn52Y48.
