We have produced superconductor/semiconductor/superconductor weak link
s with short normal conducting channels (greater than or equal to 20 n
m), the two Nb electrodes being separated by an anodic oxide film. The
normal conducting channel is the inversion layer at the surface of p-
type InAs. The junctions show clear subharmonic gap structure, but the
differential resistance peaks are splitted and their temperature depe
ndence does not correspond to the one of the superconducting energy ga
p.
