Resistivity and thermopower (TEP) measurements in the temperature rang
e 77K-300K of (Bi-1.6 Pb-0.4)Sr2Ca3(Cu1-xSx)(4)O-12-delta bulk samples
with 0 less than or equal to x less than or equal to 0.125 have been
carrier out. An enhancement of the TEP near Tc as a function of doping
level was observed. We interpret the excess TEP, assuming an electron
-phonon contribution.
