T. Goto et E. Sakai, SUPERCONDUCTING PROPERTIES OF HG(BA,SR)(2)CACU2REOX FILAMENT PRODUCEDBY SOLUTION SPINNING, Czechoslovak journal of Physics, 46, 1996, pp. 1455-1456
A superconducting: IIg-based cuprite filament was produced by a two-st
ep method. The precursor (Ba1-xSrx)(2)CaCu2ReyOz (x=0.5, 0.4, 0.2, y=0
.1, 0.2) filament with diameter of 300 mu m was prepared through solut
ion spinning method. After removing the volatile components, the filam
ent was calcined and reacted in an evacuated quartz tube with the Hg (
Ba1-xSrx)(2)CaCu2ReyOz pellet. As the content of the substituting Sr i
ncreased, the transport J(c) at 77 K and 0 T of the filament increased
, in spite of decreasing the T-c. The high J(c) value more than 2000 A
/cm(2) at 77 K and 0 T was attained for the filament with x=0.5. The m
aximum T-c of 130 K was observed for the filament with x=0.2. The fila
ment had a mixed phase of Hg1212 and Hg1223. The J(c) and T-c decrease
d by post annealing in O-2 and Ar flow. Although the J(c) rapidly decr
eased by applying the magnetic held, the superconductivity more than 7
7 K was maintained by applying the field of 1 T.
