Abstract
We report that Pb-partially substituted Bi-2222 samples of (Bi,Pb)(2)S r-2(RE,Ce)(2)Cu2Oz (RE=Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd and Y) easily show superconducti vity after annealing under 1 atm O-2 atmosphere. Especially, in the Bi -2222 samples of RE=Eu, an almost the single phase sample of Bi1.5Pb0. 5Sr2Eu1.65Ce0.35Cu2Oz shows the highest superconducting onset at about 40K. Moreover, when RE element changes for the samples with the nomin al composition of Bi(1.5)Pb(0.5)Sr(2)RE(1.65)Ce(0.35)Cu(2)O, the T-c v alues seems to vary correratively with the lattice parameters of c.
