Abstract
Effects of oxygen content in the precursor have been investigated on t he synthesis of HgBa2Ca4Cu5O12+delta(Hg-1245) under high pressure. The superconducting phases continuously changed from Hg-1234 to Hg-1245 w ith reducing the oxygen content in the precursor of Ba2Ca4Cu5O11+delta . Samples of Hg-1245 have been synthesized by optimizing the oxygen co ntent of the precursor with the stoichiometrical composition.
