The current-voltage(I-V) characteristics of YBa2Cu3Ox thin films were
measured with current densities up to 2x10(6) A/cm(2) in high magnetic
fields. In order to eliminate the heating effects, pulsed currents wi
th a duration of 10 mu s were used. Magnetic fields up to 40T were app
lied using a pulsed magnet. The I-V characteristics are highly nonline
ar in a wide range of magnetic field and temperature, and the free flu
x flow state was not observed. Hall effects in the same regions were a
lso measured.
