The effects of vortex fluctuations on the phase diagram of clean, anis
otropic, type-II superconductors placed in an external magnetic field,
H, are investigated by Monte Carlo (MC) simulations of a lattice Lond
on model. These simulations are carried out for H parallel to the axis
of anisotropy, and allow for finite penetration length lambda. Result
s for the dependence on the anisotropy parameter of the vortex-vortex
correlation functions are reported. Particular emphasis is placed on t
he correlation functions that give information about the nature of the
vortex-line liquid phase and its superconducting properties.
