S. Chastin et al., LOW-TEMPERATURE SPECIFIC-HEAT AND THERMAL-CONDUCTIVITY OF ANTIFERROMAGNETIC KONDO ALLOY CEPDGA, Czechoslovak journal of Physics, 46, 1996, pp. 2589-2590
We have measured the specific heat and thermal conductivity of the pol
ycrystalline Kondo alloy CePdGa. The specific heat shows high a Sommer
field coefficient, an antiferromagnetic transition at T-N = 1.8K and a
n anomalous residual term around T-m = 1.2K. The thermal conductivity
data fit accuratly to a kappa = aT expression at very low temperature
and the magnetic contribution to 1/kappa follows a theoretically predi
cted In(T) dependence.
