We have performed angular-dependent magnetotransport studies along the
least conducting c direction on (TMTSF)(2)PF6 under 10 kbar pressure
at temperatures down to 0.5 K. The set of studies involved rotations o
f a magnetic field in the be plane in the ''normal'' metallic state. W
e found the existence of two different regimes for the angular depende
nce of magnetoresistance at low and high fields, with the former corre
sponding to the classical limit and the latter showing power law depen
dence on the field perpendicular to the conducting planes. This sugges
ts the existence of incoherent inter-layer hopping between non-Fermi l
iquids once the critical field is exceeded.
