Abstract
The polarized Raman spectra of the monoclinic single crystal alpha-Bi2 O3 at room temperature and the Raman spectra of alpha-Bi2O3 powder at 20 and 300-650 K were studied. The assignment of the Raman bands to th e A(g) and B-g modes was given. The modelling of lattice dynamics was performed.
