Low temperature specific heat studies on contamination free single cry
stals of PrBa(2)Cu(3)0(7-delta) (PBCO) are reported in the temperature
range 1.6-40K and in applied magnetic fields of H = OT, 2T, 5T and 7.
5T. The measurements have been performed with the applied magnetic fie
lds parallel and perpendicular to the c-axis. The high quality of the
PBCO crystals grown in BaZrO3 crucible is reflected in the observed sh
arp antiferromagnetic ordering peak at T-N = 16.6K. The shift of T-N w
ith magnetic field is found to follow a H-2-dependence. The observed a
ntiferromagnetic ordering of the Pr3+ ion is discussed in the framewor
k of 3D ordering and compared with the previous reports on polycrystal
line samples.
