Macroscopic quantum interference phenomena have been observed in a new
kind of superconducting device, a 4-terminal superconducting aluminiu
m nanocross of which two terminals are short-circuited by a supercondu
cting ring and tile other two are used for a transport current. The di
mensions of the nanocross are smaller than the coherence length close
to the critical temperature. Interference phenomena are observed when
a magnetic flux is applied to the ring.
