The energy resolution of the detector on the magnetic of the magnetic
adiabatic calorimeter (MAC) operating in the region of the ferromagnet
ic transition has been estimated on the basis of the Ginzburg-Landau t
heory. It is assumed that the MAC is set into operating position at lo
w temperature by the adiabatic demagnetisation method. The magnetic re
sponse caused by the energy release at a particle entering is detected
by SQUID. The estimation of the system sensibility demonstrates the f
easibility of the application of the MAC as a weak interacting particl
es detector.
