The basic superconducting properties such as T-c and H-c2 have been in
vestigated for the sputter-deposited, proximity-coupled Nb/Co and V/Co
superconductor/ferromagnet multilayers. T-c as a function of Co-thick
ness (d(Co)) for both Nb/Co and V/Co first decreases rapidly in the ve
ry thin d(Co) region, followed by the nearly flat region on thicker si
de. This behavior in T-c is closely related to the dimensionality in t
he superconducting characteristics of the present multilayers.
